Based on an old family photograph, the work presents a childhood self-portrait shaped by play and transformation. The oversized red jacket, the book worn as a hat, and the swimming goggles compose a scene in which imagination alters the everyday.

Notes on the work

The disguise becomes the sign of a childhood freedom capable of inventing characters and alternative worlds, bringing to the surface a luminous memory tinged with nostalgia.
